Many could well have been avoided mitigated, had the perpetrators known their intended victims were equipped with a rifle and twenty bullets apiece... Each sabbath I remind my children and grandchildren each rifle, shotgun, pistol and every round of ammo in private hands in this country is a sacred pledge of every individual to determine his own destiny to resist evil and tyranny.

Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot and Idi Amin all made a point of disarming the people they later slaughtered. Under the Second Amendment, all private weapons (including AR-15s) are a reminder to politicians who would enslave us, terrorize, or dream of genocide against us, of the cost free, Messianic/Christians, armed would exact for such folly.

Private guns represent a silent promise my dad made every day to the ashes of Jews strewn all over Poland, Russia, Hungary and the rest of eastern Europe. Never again will we be led quietly, like lambs to the slaughter.
