Everyone in the gun debate always fixates on a solution that can never be a reality because A) there are too many guns already manufactured / not just in the USA but throughout the world B) Bad-guys don’t buy guns through conventional channels.
*Before you interupt me and scream about the Vegas psycho, let’s wait and hope we get an actual factual report of the Vegas event. This was a premeditated that event — it was going to happen with or without legal access to guns.
Read this with an open mind. Don’t start composing a vitriolic rebuttal. I agree with you. Zero guns would make the world safer…but it wouldn’t stop violence.

Disclaimer: I own guns. Many shapes and sizes. They are an extension of my training and are there to protect me and my family when the length of my arm, leg, blade or tomahawk isn’t enough. As a self-defense proponent I’d love to see a world where the only weapon available was you, the ‘Human Weapon’, where the coward, or nutcase couldn’t cheat by using technology.
Side bar: To all my gun friends, please be gentle with me, I’m being philosophical here. I recognize the skill and training required to not only be a great shot but to also remain focused in a gunfight. But there is something to be said about the individual who can and will protect themselves with their empty hands, or as I like to refer to as the ‘naked warrior’.
