Violent Idaho Home Invader Shot DRT (dead right there)

The Idaho State Journal and East Idaho News.com report on 09-08-2017 in Downey, Idaho, a 34 year old intruder from Pocatello forced his way through the door of the residence on Barnes Lane off Highway 40 around 4 a.m. on Friday morning.

According to the Bannock County Sheriff’s Office, the intruder was fatally shot by the homeowner. He was struck by the gunfire and died at the scene prior to the arrival of responding sheriff’s deputies.

Authorities said no charges are pending against the resident because all indications are that the man opened fire in defense of himself and other family members who were at home at the time.
