I believe that had the Israelis been armed, October 7 would have been another Shabbos in Israel. Americans have the good fortune of living in a country with a Second Amendment. We, especially as American Jews with the frightening rise in active Jew-hatred we are witnessing and a clear repeat of 1933, must recognize that we are our first and, often times, our only first line of defense. We must make October 7, 2023, the final ‘Never Again’.
