All too many of the other great tragedies of history - Stalin's atrocities, the killing fields of Cambodia, the Holocaust, to name but a few - were perpetrated by armed troops against unarmed populations. Many could well have been avoided mitigated, had the perpetrators known their intended victims were equipped with a rifle and twenty bullets apiece... I have been waiting for this to happen. After all, law-abiding citizens defending themselves, Jews and shooting, guns, Second Amendment, are not Facebook’s greatest hits. And often constitute a “violation of their Community Standards”. So yesterday, when I got home from a local Oath Keepers meeting, I was warned of just such a violation where I was put on notice that ALL my Facebook pages would be restricted if I violated those “community standards” one more time. And, what you may ask, was the violation? The posting of the image below.

MeWe has some kinks to work out and I’m sure they will as more people join and the platform is improved. I will not close up my pages on Facebook yet but I will walk in “lockstep” on their platform until we all end up either moving or being kicked off the Facebook platform.
