Donald Trump: “The right of self-defense doesn’t stop at the end of your driveway. That’s why I have a concealed carry permit and why tens of millions of Americans do too. That permit should be valid in all 50 states.”

WASHINGTON, D.C. – For many years, those who have a concealed weapons permit have wondered why, after getting a permit in their state, they cannot carry in other states. It is something that does not seem to make sense.

However, many states fail to recognize what has been done to obtain that permit, and those with legally obtained carry permits are unable to carry across state lines.

Now, President Donald Trump has promised to sign a bill into law which would allow those with carry permits in one state to carry into others, providing such a bill is ever presented to him.
