David B. Kopel is a prominent American attorney, author, and legal scholar specializing in Second Amendment law, serving as Research Director for the Independence Institute and an Adjunct Scholar at the Cato Institute. A graduate of University of Michigan Law School, he has written 20 books and numerous scholarly articles cited by the U.S. Supreme Court, including in the Bruen case.
