A message from Doris Wise — founder, Jews Can Shoot
Jews Can Shoot was founded and is run by one Jewish woman, Doris Wise. I started it in 2013 because I realized that, whatever else is happening in the world, the only reliable way to ensure our freedom and safety is to be armed.
I would like to thank everyone for the support and respect that Jews Can Shoot has received and continues to receive. This effort honors my Holocaust survivor parents, all survivors, and all who perished. From that history, we learned a fundamental truth: there is no substitute for being prepared to defend ourselves. Remaining armed and resisting efforts to disarm law-abiding people is the most important fight of our lives.
To clarify a common misconception, which I take as a compliment, Jews Can Shoot is not an organization with a staff or a team behind it. There are no employees, no sponsors, no grants, no institutional funding. Every message, every post, every effort comes from me alone. Once I commit to something, I don’t let go, and that determination has helped Jews Can Shoot become a respected pro–Second Amendment voice with a powerful message to all Americans from the Jews, who are all too familiar with being disarmed.
There are no employees. No staff. No sponsors. No grants. No institutional funding. Just me. One Jewish woman.
