Bus Stop Attack in Israel Shows Why Armed Citizens Save Lives

A significant point is that the terrorists were taken out by ARMED Israelis. Otherwise, this attack would have been unimaginably more horrific. ARMED being the very point.

The Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms (CCRKBA) says Monday’s deadly terror attack in Israel is another powerful example of why an armed citizenry matters.

According to the Times of Israel, two Palestinian gunmen opened fire at a bus stop, killing at least six people and wounding more than a dozen. Their rampage ended only because an off-duty Israeli soldier and armed civilians shot back, killing both attackers.

CCRKBA Chairman Alan Gottlieb put it bluntly:

“The oldest human right is the right of self-defense. This right knows no national boundaries. Monday morning in Israel, people waiting peacefully at a bus stop were targeted by a pair of terrorists who made the fatal error of expecting all of their intended victims to be unarmed,” he said. “Now they’re both dead.”
