It brings me no satisfaction to highlight the harsh reality of Israel’s restrictive gun laws. But I do so to remind Americans how fortunate we are to live under a Constitution that explicitly protects our right to keep and bear arms—not just as a safeguard against tyranny, but as a means of self-defense when no one else is coming to help. This important article drives that point home—and offers an additional warning we must not ignore: be vigilant about whom you allow into your home.
This is from friends in Israel:
“We all know about the armed invasion of Israel by Hamas terrorists from Gaza on 7 Oct 23 and mass murders, rapes, destruction, and hostage-taking that ensued.
It has now been revealed that female housekeepers, who lived in Gaza and commuted back and forth for work, in and out of Israel every day, as they worked for families in Jewish settlements near the border, had been progressively recruited by terrorists to gather intelligence!
Eventually, these women were all surreptitiously working for Hamas terrorists, who had been carefully planning this coordinated invasion for some time.
What few defensive arms there were in these outlying settlements were perpetually locked in ‘armories’ (of assorted descriptions) with only a very limited number of specifically-designated people having access to them. This grossly-inadequate ‘security plan’ was no secret. Hamas knew all about it!
