WHEREAS PREAMBLE
Whereas, the Founding Fathers were not fans of tyranny,
Whereas, they wrote things down clearly so future generations wouldn’t get confused,
Whereas, “shall not be infringed” is not code for “maybe a little bit, if you’re scared,”
Whereas, history has shown that disarmed populations tend to have very bad centuries,
Whereas, armed citizens are not a threat to the Republic, but the reason it still exists,
Whereas, freedom without the means to defend it is just a polite suggestion,
Whereas, Jews Can Shoot understands and honors the Founders’ goal: that free people, never again disarmed and defenseless, shall stand ready to protect life, liberty, and the lessons of history,
Now, therefore, be it resolved, by the House of Representatives and the Senate of these United States, that we shall reaffirm with boldness, without apology, and possibly with a little shouting:
The Right of the People to Keep and Bear Arms Shall. Not. Be. Infringed.

Mr. Liberty (for himself, Ms. Backbone, Mr. Rugged, and Ms. Constitution) introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on National Memory and Constitutional Clarity.
A BILL
To restore, reassert, and re-arm the understanding of the Second Amendment in these United States.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
Sections 1 through 5 of this Act shall mirror the provisions of H.R. 1791 in full, as if written by James Madison after a strong cup of coffee and a few decades of hindsight.
ADDITIONAL SENATE CLAUSE.
Section 6. FIREARM LITERACY CAMPAIGN.
(a) The Secretary of Education shall develop and distribute a required curriculum titled “The Founders Were Not Talking About Muskets: A Modern Citizen’s Guide to the Second Amendment.”
(b) This program shall include:
- Demonstrations of the difference between a semi-automatic firearm and a fully automatic one, using crayons if necessary.
- Historical footage of every tyrant who confiscated arms before doing worse things.
- A required field trip to a gun range for all senators who have ever confused a clip with a magazine.
FINAL NOTE TO THE PEOPLE:
Should future governments attempt to nullify this Act or the Amendment it echoes, citizens are hereby encouraged to respond with firm civility, constitutional literacy, and if necessary, calm resolve backed by the Second itself.
