Not “could” but WOULD definitely lead to increased surveillance and control over law-abiding gun owners. Which is the very goal and point of every single law restricting any aspect of our right to keep and bear arms. The goal is to disarm and make defenseless all law-abiding gun owners. They will use a gun registry in the same way the Nazis used the gun registry compiled by the Weimar Republic to confiscate guns for “public safety”.

WASHINGTON D.C (VINnews)- In a heated debate over a proposed amendment aimed at removing the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives’ (ATF) ability to establish a gun registry, Far Leftist Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-NJ) expressed strong support for the creation of a national gun registry. Her remarks came during a session in which lawmakers discussed the implications of the amendment on public safety and gun ownership rights.

“I think it is a wonderful idea to have a registry of every gun that is owned by a civilian in the United States,” stated Rep. Watson Coleman. Her assertion underscored a significant divide among lawmakers regarding the balance between Second Amendment rights and measures aimed at enhancing public safety through more stringent gun control.
