This past week an antisemitic mob of violent Hamas supporters rioted in the center of Pico-Robertson, LA’s largest Jewish neighborhood. The mob blocked the entrance to a synagogue and assaulted Jews on the streets.
Many American Jews thought that such scenes were confined to the history books, representing the darkest chapters in our history. Today we are seeing 1930’s Germany repeat itself in major American cities. The one thing that we in America have that Jews in Germany didn’t, is the 2nd Amendment. US Jewish communities need to be heavily armed and trained, and ready to defend themselves against these violent Jew-haters.If there is any community in this country that should be armed it is the Pico/Robertson area. I know. I grew up there.
Anti-Israel protesters gathered outside the Adas Torah Synagogue in the Pico-Robertson section of Los Angeles on Sunday where an Israel real-estate fair was taking place.
According to reports from the scene, the protesters surrounded the synagogue and prevented Jews from entering.
In one video, protesters, their faces covered by “Palestinian” keffiyehs, are seen linking arms by the entrance of the house of worship.
Pro-Israel counterprotesters are also at the scene. A page on X named “Jews Fight Back” called on the community to protect the synagogue, stating: “We need to gather in overwhelming numbers to ensure our community is not left defenseless.”
