All too many of the other great tragedies of history - Stalin's atrocities, the killing fields of Cambodia, the Holocaust, to name but a few - were perpetrated by armed troops against unarmed populations. Many could well have been avoided mitigated, had the perpetrators known their intended victims were equipped with a rifle and twenty bullets apiece... With Democrats now firmly in control of the House of Representatives, it’s time for them to do what politicians with only one chamber of Congress and no control over the White House do. That’s a whole lot of nothing but masquerading.

In this case, it seems that Speaker Nancy Pelosi and company are looking to hold hearings on “gun violence.”
