Borders and guns are both about defense (national defense and self-defense) — so, naturally, the Democrats are opposed to both.

They’re allowing thousands of criminal aliens to stream across the border, while they scheme to take away our only means of self-defense.

Even the rhetoric is similar. Democrats think gun-ownership is immoral (you might hurt someone with them) and — a la Nanny State Pelosi — guns are immoral.

And voters gave them the House in the last election. Stupid us.
