Okay shooters, it’s venting time! I am really sick and tired of all the “my gun is better than your gun” rhetoric.

“Glock is better!”

“Sig Sauer is better!”

“You carry a what? What a monumental piece of garbage!”

We, as a community, constantly try and tear one another down when it comes to firearm manufacturers and the choice to carry/own certain firearms from them. Yes, I called us a “community”. We are a community. Hunters, Competition Shooters, firearm enthusiasts, military, law enforcement… we all view firearms as the best tool for the job when it comes to our professions and lifestyles.

In the firearm world, you hear so much trash talk and infighting, it’s no wonder that we are so divided as a community. For example, everyone and their mother talks trash on Highpoint firearms. For years I have heard nothing but smack talk about Highpoint’s handguns, but there are people that like them. Personally, I like the pistol caliber carbines that Highpoint manufacturers. They’re actually really fun to shoot! They come in 9 mm, .40 S&W and .45 ACP. They’re kinda cool!

The “Glock VS 1911” debate is another good one that comes up a lot. Personally, I love both platforms! Just like I love both AK-47’s and AR-15’s. I like guns. It is what it is.
