Adam Taxin interviews me shortly after the GOP-targeted shooting. The single most important lesson to be taken from this horrific event is that “a good guy with a gun, stopped a bad guy with a gun.” (For you sticklers, a good woman with a gun…) The discussion the day after is the need for members of Congress to carry and/or to have more security (at taxpayer dollars). I ask, “Why are their lives more deserving of protection than our lives?”
