It is easy to believe that violence only happens to others. It is easy to dismiss crime statistics when they are just numbers in a report. But notice just how frequently, when watching the news or documentaries about crime, there is a neighbor or family member of a crime victim that cries “this is a safe neighborhood, things like this don’t happen here.”
Well, they do happen there and here and everywhere. Violent crime happens in good neighborhoods and to good people. It happens fast and usually without warning. And because we have made it our passion, our job, and our responsibility to care about safety and survival, please allow us to give you this warning right now. The warning is that no one is immune from violent crime. A feeling of safety is a coping mechanism that offers a false sense of security and absolutely no protection.
We live in a world of shootings, stabbings, and beatings. We live in a world of terrorism, active killers, and riots. When violence is imminent, it will be too late to start learning about how to survive and protect your loved ones in such situations. Decisions need to be made ahead of time, and commitment to your family’s safety needs to be prioritized. This commitment is a commitment to training.
To follow the success of recent seminars, Surviving Violent Encounters and Surviving Riots (Proactive Survival Approach), we are putting together a series of webinars that will discuss in detail how you can prepare and what you can expect if you find yourself in violent scenarios, especially active killer (shooter) scenarios. You will receive expert advice and will also have an opportunity to ask questions.
Ultimately, it is your responsibility to be proactive so that you are not put into a position of being reactive. The time to commit to planning for safety is now, and our webinar series is a great place to start, as the fee is small and you can watch it from the comfort of your home.
Are you willing to commit to your safety and survival? The time is now!
