Scott Kirshner, M.Ed. has been a Parole Administrator, Supervisory Probation Officer, and Correctional Officer. He has extensive experience as an officer survival trainer and has been a lead defensive tactics instructor, firearms instructor, and use of force instructor. In addition, he has written and taught numerous training curriculums on: Verbal De-escalation, Applied Defensive Tactics, Officer Awareness and the Tactical Mindset, and Low-Light Shooting Tactics. Mr. Kirshner holds a black belt in three styles of martial arts. He has also taught classes on: Evidence Based Practices, Motivational Interviewing, and Case Management Plans. Mr. Kirshner has a Bachelors of Science in Business and a Masters of Education in Counseling
