The most common reason for an individual to purchase a firearm is to be able to defend his/her family. This course tackles a wide range of topics. From the proper mindset, how to prepare your home for safety, use of force, aftermath and shooting techniques.
Prerequisite:
- Law-abiding adult citizen
- Proof of Shooting Experience (one or more)
- Completed Basic Pistol Course
- Completed First Steps Pistol Course
- Marksmanship Qualification (Pistol)
- Military DD214 (Pistol)
- CCW Holder
- or Instructor’s Permission

- Your firearm with 2 or more magazines for your firearm (may be rented at the range)

- Eye and ear protection (if you don’t have one, they will be provided)
- 100 or more rounds of ammunition for your firearm (may be purchased at the range)
- Dummy ammunition for your pistol (rental may be available)
