The Sixth Circus Court of Schlemiels. Constitutionally illiterate is spot on.
A corrupt federal clown court ruled on Thursday, August 7th, that the Second Amendment does not protect the right to own machine guns. The decision was made in the context of upholding the conviction of Jaquan Bridges, 22, who was arrested with a .40 caliber Glock handgun equipped with a device that enabled it to fire in full-auto.
Now, before we go making Bridges into some Second Amendment Martyr, let me say that this genius nearly crashed his vehicle into a Memphis police cruiser before opening fire on officers as he attempted to flee the scene, making him a grade A asshole.
After being indicted by a grand jury for one count of possessing a machine gun in violation of 18 U.S.C. 922(o), Bridges attempted to have the charge dismissed based on the statute’s unconstitutionality. Although he was absolutely correct, it was clear that bought-and-paid-for activist judges would not allow him to prevail, leading to his guilty plea and a nine-year prison sentence.
